EA FC 25: Career Mode Will Add New Features! – Features Overview

Are EA players waiting for the official release of FC 25? Some time ago, EA officially announced that FC 25 is scheduled to be officially released on September 27, 2024. So far, a lot of information about many games has been announced, but the most concerned by players is Career Mode.

And Career Mode in this new game has added many new features, including scouts, tactical settings, customization, and more in the game. EA has publicly stated that most of these changes come from ideas in the player community. These changes will expand this Career Mode for mid-level managers and players in the game. This guide will introduce you to some of the new features in FC 25 Career Mode so you can prepare!

Women’s Career Mode

With the addition of women players in FC 24 Ultimate Team, players have been looking forward to whether they will see the same in FC 25. Obviously, the answer is right. FC 25 gives you access to players and teams from the five most popular women’s football leagues on the field, which means you can use these “Field Roses” to  buy FC 25 FUT Coins enhance your Ultimate Team.

The leagues currently announced for you to play in the game are Women’s Super League, NWSL, D1 Arkemma, Liga F and Frauen-Bundesliga. In addition, UWCL will also appear in Career Mode, so you can lead your team to European glory.

FC 25 has added some much-needed tactical changes – Player Roles and Team Tactics, so that you can use Work Rates and Player Instructions. These fall under the purview of FC IQ, but it’s important to note that although it will appear in all game modes, it is most suitable for Career Mode.

With this new system, you can assign different roles to players and create custom tactical setups more effectively. For example, if you want to play a standard 4-3-3 formation, which requires your CDM to move into defense, you can assign your players to the center back position.

Similarly, if you need to strengthen the midfield defense, you can also have your midfielders play higher up the pitch using the half-winger position like a senior number 8. However, it is important to note that the success of your players in these positions depends on their familiarity with the position.

If they are not proficient enough, you can spend some FC 25 Coins to hire a coach who fits your team’s tactical vision to help them improve their attributes.

Live Start Points

The most interesting part of Career Mode is Live Start Points, which will start a new game based on your real-life season. These starting points will be updated once a week, and the main data will be taken from Premier League, LaLiga and Ligue 1. It will include league rankings, results, transfers, statistics, suspensions and other data.

For example, the newly emerging Ipswich won the championship in GW4, so you will take over the team at their peak and try to lead them to glory again. However, if Everton is currently in a relegation crisis, you will also take over at this low point and find a way to get them out of the misery.

Live Start Points will help you discover more of the most promising teams or players in the world of football, and the ending of each story is entirely up to you. Unfortunately, Live Start Points will not be enabled at the official launch, but will be added as a patch in the future. We can look forward to it together!

Icons Cards In Player Career

You can play as your favorite idol in the game, and have all the statistics, game styles, and player positions of these idols.

As of now, Andrea Pirlo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Kelly Smith, and Thierry Henry will appear in the normal Career Mode. David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Ronaldo will appear in Ultimate Edition.

Youth Academy Revamp

There were a lot of issues with Youth system in FC 24, but this will no longer be the case in FC 25. You can send your scouts to 160 countries to search for outstanding young players in various countries.

In addition to this new feature, you can also ask scouts to look for up to four positions and three focus positions. This will greatly reduce FC 25 Coins you spend on scouting, while still finding some excellent players for you.

As for young players, you can now directly participate in their development instead of just renting them out for a season as before. This is done through the new Rush Mode integrated into manager and player careers. You can also hold a tournament every two months and let your young players play 5v5 games. This way you can very intuitively understand their current overall rating and subsequent maximum potential rating to decide whether to invest a lot of money in their development in the future.

Player Origins

As the name suggests, with the addition of Player Origins in the game, you can learn about the background stories of this player, which will shape the personality of this player and are closely related to his strengths or challenges.

Player Origins includes Clean Slate, Great Expectations, Climb to the Top and Return to Glory sections. You can also create your own story by clicking on Custom Start option. Method 1: Baby Thorp (Great Cleave)

One of the most popular and effective methods for fast weapon XP.

•  Location: Head to Great Cleave, teleport to Battle’s Edge Shrine, and go west to Battle Class Crossing.

•  Event: Engage in the mini-event “Hounding the Master” by following event steps to spawn and defeat Baby Thorp repeatedly.

•  Wave Breakdown:

Wave 1: Kill initial enemies.

Wave 2: Defeat five enemies that approach you.

Wave 3: Kill three of Thorp’s lieutenants.

Wave 4: 60 seconds to kill as many enemies as possible. Target weaker mobs for quick XP.

Final Wave: Baby Thorp spawns. Defeat him for a big XP boost.

Tips: Use a primary weapon to clear mobs and a secondary weapon (such as a Life Staff) to finish off Baby Thorp, allowing you to level both weapons simultaneously.

Method 2: Pirate Camps (Restless Shore)

This method involves farming mobs at pirate camps, which are easy to defeat and respawn quickly.

•  Location: Teleport to Cisnis Shrine in Restless Shore and walk north to the pirate camp Channelview Post.

•  Process: Run around the camp to aggro enemies, then group them and take them out. When they respawn, move to the next camp, Oceanview Post, and repeat.

•  Best for AOE Weapons: Weapons with AOE skills make this grind faster.

Tips: This method is simple and relaxing, allowing you to level weapons while multitasking.

Method 3: Elite Points of Interest (Brightwood Isle)

Ideal for players looking to level weapons against slightly tougher enemies.

•  Location: Brightwood Isle (low-level elite area).

•  Strategy: Pull multiple elite enemies at once, then clear them with AOE attacks.

•  Additional Targets: The Gravediggers and Exploding Mobs provide extra XP, especially if tagged with a single hit.

Tips: This is a more intensive method due to tougher enemies, but it’s great for players looking to practice weapon mechanics.

Bonus Method: Chest and Portal Runs

Join portal or chest runs advertised in World Chat. Equip the weapon you want to level, follow the group, and gain XP without active combat, while earning some New World ：Aeternum coins on the side.

New World: How To Farm Rawhide In Rise Of Angry Earth? – Best Locations & Tips

With Rise of Angry Earth expansion, a change of level bracket for Rawhide come in New World, so the farming locations for it have changed quite a bit. But I think there are still a lot of places that have a good potential in farming your preferred hides.

I will tell you some of the best Rawhide farming spots in this short guide. I will also share some general tips to make your run more successful. This way, you can collect more Rawhides and earn more New World Coins.

Understanding Rawhide Farming

Different hides drop from a certain level of a beast, and now these brackets have changed.

Rawhide now drops from beasts from level one up to level 29. At level 30 and above, they will be able to be skinned from thick hide.

The base amount of hides on creature drops is based on two factors: 

The first factor is the size of the beast. Bison drop the most hide as they’re the biggest, and wolves do the least as they are small compared to them. 

The other factor is beast level. The higher the level within the bracket, the more height it drops. For example, a level 25 lynx would give you more Rawhide than a 15 lynx. This base number would reset at the next hide tier bracket.

The whole base amount of hides you get can then be multiplied by gathering yield. You can double it if you optimize correctly. 

Choosing The Right Zone

There are only three zones where you can farm Rawhide. And I would pick your zone depending on the faction ownership as you get 10% more yield if you are the same faction as the one who owns the zone. 

If none of them are your color, then don’t worry and pick any of them you like.

Everfall Rawhide Locations

Everfall is the first one that we will take a look at. This zone has plenty of good locations where you can farm Rawhide.  

New World Everfall Rawhide Locations

There is a good hilly area that is inhabited with a lot of pumas and deer. Both of them give you a lot of Rawhide.

Up North near the border with Weaver’s Fen, you have a green land with wolves wondering about. This one is a bit worse than the previous one with pumas and deer. An equally good area is the one around Starstone Barrows Expedition where, besides Ancient Guardians, you can find plenty of lynxes.

Up North is the worst spot of New World Gold them all because wolves are very low level. But if you put your time in, you can get a decent amount of Rawhide. 

If I were you, I would try pumas and deer first. If taken, I would move North to wolves or west to lynxs.

Windsward Rawhide Hotspots

The next zone that has enemies low enough for you to be able to haunt animals is Windsward. 

New World Windsward Rawhide Hotspots

This one has one amazing spot that might be taken all the time. It is the bison spot that also has some deer on the western side, already in the area of Monarch’s Bluffs. This one also has a lot of Hemp. If you were lucky enough to find it, you can farm both at the same time.

Other options are low-level wolves and lynxs on the east of the settlement and wolves, deer, and pumas at the south of the zone’s main town.

By far the best option is where bison reside. However, it might always be taken. In that case, I would try my luck south of the settlement.

Monarch’s Bluffs Rawhide Farms

The last area that has enemies that are up to level 25 is Monarch’s Bluffs.

This one has very few options on where to farm Rawhide. You have a large area filled with wolves and bears. You also have one inside a cave that is filled with lynxes. 

I have not included the bison and deer location as I have already mentioned it in the Windsward part.

If I had to pick where to farm Rawhide in this zone, I would pick the wolves and bear area down South as I believe it is much less populated with other hunters like you. 

Conclusion 

With the change of level bracket, the farming locations for Rawhide have changed quite a bit. 

But I think there are still a lot of places that have a good potential in farming your preferred hides when you go on your run.

Do not forget to buff up with Music to get as much yield as possible.
